Butterflies

Today is the last day of 2014. I am happy to say that I am not as thrilled to see 2014 end as I was to see 2013 end... I am, however, still very excited to welcome a new year...

We have some exciting things to look forward to: Our own furniture line will be out of the design phase and into the production phase! Once that is done, our website will be finished and feature our line of furniture for purchase online. We are taking down our ugly drop ceiling and exposing the cool old wood beams. Lido juice is opening next door to us and we are thrilled to finally have them as neighbors! Not only do I think it will be good for our business to have such neighbors, but also healthy. Can't wait to get a green juice every day...

A good friend of mine often sends me a thought for the day in the morning. This one is from today and I think it couldn't be more perfect for my thoughts on beginning a new year. This is the way I would like to think of my resolution for the new year.

"Who are the happiest people we know? Those who are fullly human, which means they are able and willing to feel, to celebrate, to challenge old boundaries, to risk, and to allow others to need them. I know that I can't pull back from and reach out to life at the same time. Today I choose to reach out. To fly like a butterfly and leave the cocoon behind."
